grassy weeds in St Aug
Uncle Bubba – posted 07 May 2011 12:53
For the second or third straight summer I have grassy weeds invading my St Augustine. I’m told there is no pre or post emergent grassy weed killer for St Augustine. Other than digging out the weeds and re-sodding, is there any other way to address this?
Thanks

Are the weeds summer/winter annuals or perennials. If they are summer/winter annuals you can use a weed and feed with Lockup(penoxilum) and pre-emerge Feb or Mar with Ronstar(Oxadiazon) and again in Aug-or Sept. If the weeds are perennial unfortunately there are very few products that will provide control.
