Grass to blend with Moss…
strum – posted 28 March 2007 13:08
Hi,
I live in Long Island and have very large trees with almost a complete canopy… and thus very low light. With the low light, I have lots of area where Moss is the ground cover… it looks like a lawn and is really great looking. Other areas of the yard have some unknown grass with lots of bare spots…
I would like to put seed down in these bare areas… I want it to handle the low light… and would like the grass to be tight almost like a putting green to match with the Moss…
Would Creeping Bentgrass be a good candidate for me??
thanks
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
I am from the north and it has taken me five yrs to learn and undertand seville lawns. No 1…
