grass fungus or insects?

I hydroseed my lawn last fall. It had slow growth during very cool/wet spring in MA.
All of June the lawn looked healthier each week. A little greener and thicker each week.
Last week had a hot/humid 4 days in a row. This week noticed a few “Browning” areas getting larger each day (1-6 ft. wide). Grass blades turning brown–looks like its dying.
Any idea what it could be?

It could be many things. . .chinch bugs, fungus of some sort, or dry spots just to name a few. May want to consult the local extension service for more information.
