Getting Texas Common to spread

I have half my yard in St Augustine and half is bermuda and the St. Augustine is slowly taking over the Bermuda, any suggestions on how do I get/promote it to spread quicker? I love the ease of St. Augustine and the fact that it stays green and chokes out weeds, so how do I get the bermuda to say goodbye and St. Augustine to say hello?

Shade and water will tip the balance in favor of St. Augustine.

Apply a quality liquid fertilizer 1 time a month. Make sure that you potassium level is on the higher side which causes root development.
