Floratam Lawn

I have a relatively new Floratam lawn which was put in last December. It has been doing reasonably well until about a few weeks ago. Specifically, it is starting to turn brown with a lot of thatch in between the green. I water about an hour, once a week per our regulations in Sarasota. I also put a Scotts Weed & Feed on it about 6 weeks ago which actually made it look really good for about a month and now it looks pretty bad. I am worried that I either am watering it too much or maybe over fertilized it. How can I bring it back. It looks especially bad in the shady areas of the yard.

Why are you worrying about watering at this time? Just let mother nature do it’s job. There is no need to water
