Fescue over dying Bermuda?

Ok so here goes, I live in north atlanta and recently put Bermuda sod down in the back yard. This was a gamble at best as the amount of sun is questionable. For the past 2 1/2 months the lawn has looked good when the grass is tall however when i cut it, it has many brown areas. I have been cutting the grass at about 1.5 to 2 inches to give it time to establish before going lower. I am considering overseeding the bermuda with fescue or zoysia. I am not sure if the Bermuda will take or if I am doing something wrong. Any thoughts or suggestions on next steps would be appreciated

this discussion board is definitely not a joke. there’s some extremely qualified professionals willing to give of their time to help your problems! as usual, we need more specifics- how much sun in the back? (need number of hours). you would definitely not seed fescue this time of year and you don’t use zoysia seed, period.
