I live in north Atlanta and have alot of shade trees, no pines, with 3 hours or less of sun in some places. I will lay solid sod. No plugs. Which is the better of these two?

The only grass I’ve seen grow in that much shade is St Augustine. I don’t like zoysia under normal circumstances. If you’re expecting to challenge yourself to the perfect lawn using zoysia in full shade, you’re asking for a lot of grief.
