Can someone please answer a quick question for me? The question is:What nutrient is particularly important for ensuring maximum low-temperature hardiness of turfgrass? If anyone knows this answer please respond to me as quickly as possible. Thank you so much

Just my opinion but potash is a huge help to turf in temperature extremes. All the potash in the world is not as important as good, sound turf management, that provides healthy turf all season long. Healthy turf, planted where its supposed to be will have the best cold hardiness. For example, I have bermuda, (in spots, not my main turf)in southern NJ. By rights we should not have a warm season grass in the north. We manage it the best we can and part of that is 1#K in October.
Hope it sorta answers you question….
