No, St. Augustine grass is not available in seed.
You can plant St. Augustine grass via plugging or sodding.

Varied St. Augustine plugs are pretty energentic in settling in well nourished lawns. Actually I prepared my own plugs by buying a few “slabs of St Augustine” cutting into 3×3 plugs and placing in patchy areas, after soaking root system for 20 mins. I had 6 queen palms removed from my landscaping and the area of bareness was unbelieveable and the plugs grew in very well within 6 months. For those thoughts of why remove queens, son highly allergic and with 9 total, some thinning had to take place.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
