Your best bet would be to calibrate your spreader. This shopuld be done periodically anyway. The link below will help. For a rotary spreader you may want to duct tape a trash bag to the bottom and catch the material that way.

Hope it helps……………………..

Many thanks cohiba, My speedgreen comes with a mark at full open which helps with the calibration. I am looking for the lbs/1000 sq feet or speedygreen setting for proper pre-M (dimemsion 0-0-7) treatment for bermuda in Atlanta area
Thanks ggops

To all:
I found this spot on the Lesco website. Click the tab for “Solutions” then go to “Spreader Settings” and plug in your info. Look down the list to see if your spreader is listed.
I’d still like to calibrate though……..

Many many thanks Cohiba. Is there difference in granule vs liquid based pre emergents. All the lawn care co’s in my area seem to spray stuff.

I have used Dimension in wettable powder and liquid form. No doubt about it the liquid wins hands down. I had way too many escapes with the WP this year. I have decided to switch to Barricade altogether in the spring. I also use granular Ronstar. That stuff is great (sorry, no homeowner use on the label) but even gave up in mid August this year.
Oh well time to start over…………..
