dead spots in buffalo

We have very healthy buffalo grass. All of the sudden it looks like someone walked around our yard and randomly sprayed roundup. It continues to get worse everyday. There has been no spraying in the yard, so we know it can’t be a grass killer. Is there some kind of disease or bug that we may have? We have checked for grubs, but can’t find any.
