cutting down bermuda grass

When is the best time to cut down bermuda grass? Mine is going crazy. I am using the recommended fert program from Lesco. I heard that you should not cut the grass when it is dormat. If that is true then when? Also i understand that bermuda grass needs to be kept short, but i would have to cut it every other day. I can’t keep up with that. My bermuda is about 3 inches tall in front and back yard and it in prime growing mode. Suggestions?

most bermuda should be cut to 1 1/2 inches or less. I usually scalp mine around late feb. shorter is better when it comes to bermuda.
