Chicago area residential fescue problem

Bad drought last year. Many lawns lost. Mine ok except fescue has taken over the Kentucky Blue in many patchy areas. Probably 30% of the total lawn now taken over. Is there any way to take the lawn back? Can I kill it or control it? Any ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.

There is a product out there that will do the trick! (can’t remember the name of the chemical at the moment).Get a hold of a pro lawn service,(such as Chemlawn), which can spray a selective herbicide that will kill the fescue- but not the bluegrass.
