Burning Zenith

Is it a good thing or bad thing to burn your zenith grass. If it is a good thing when would be the best time to do it. I live in South Carolina. Thanks for your help with this

Its a bad thang. Don’t do it, don’t give up, da zoysia is da best grass you can have yeah. Just let it grow and see what happens. I haven’t mowe mi grass 4 da 3 weeks no. Dis dame grasss is sooo low growing and it ain’t no stop it no. Do not burn, just water it when it get dry and dying pull da weeds with da roots out bestest you can. Hope this helps my friend. I ain’t no turfmaster but I ain’t no hide my Jedi Masters.

That’s correct – don’t burn it. You’ll end up killing surface stolons and giving the Zoysia a major setback. Zoysia is slow enough as is…
