Yes, but not well. Buffalograss is only true turfgrass native to US, but it is native to semiarid western plains. It does best in low rainfall areas (<25 inches/year)High rainfall and humidity make it susceptible to disease. It has poor tolerance to shade and foot traffic. Plus it doesn’t look very good.
