Ok everyone, I just overseeded my lawn with RebelIII Tall Fescue. I have a few bare spots on my lawn, where I really need this Fescue to grow. From time to time I look out the window, and I’ve got sparrows feeding all over these spots. Some one told me that they don’t eat Rye or fescue seed. Is this true? If not what can I do to keep them from eating all my seed?

Tie string to an aluminum pie plate, attach it to a stick and put it in the ground by these spots. When a breeze blows the plate will make noise and scare off the birds
