Best lawn mower for a new lawn?

Can anyone recommend the best type of lawn mower for a newly seeded lawn? I am asking this question ahead of time for next summer so I can do my research now. If I buy a mulching type mower then all of the grass clippings get returned to the soil which is sometimes good or bad. I could buy a rear-bagger and remove all of the clippings altogether.

Most mowers give you the option of mulching or bagging. Mulching is usually best for routine mowing, but bagging may be neccesary if the lawn is allowed to grow too tall. Mulching such a lawn will leave clumps of grass.

Agree with the above.
My suggestions is to buy a good mulching mower. They usually have attachable bags. If you remove the clippings you will need to fertilize more frequently.
