Like many, from the Katrina Region I have landed and decided to settle in Dallas,TX. Down in MS and LA I successfully seed 1/3 of and Acre with TifBlair Centipede.Believe or not it took only 1 year, 1 growing season for the new seeds to cover all the lot, ths grass needed to be water only once every 2 weeks during the drought season, everbody in te subdivision was asking about the type of grass I had… Anyway, now I am in Dallas and it is so Hot and Dry here that Ihave my doudbts the TifBlair Centipede and I do not like the Bermuda the builder installed.
What Grass does have execellent Drought/Heat resistant/tolerance for Dallas and the color is close to the Bermuda? HOA is really picky about landscape.

How much time do you want to spend. Any grass in this area will require frequent watering and cutting. I’m in Bedford (NE Fort Worth),I have had Tiff328 for over twenty years and am very pleased with it. If you will email me with you phone number I’ll be happy to discuss it with you or send me your email address for my number.
