Bermudagrass Borders

I have tifsport bermuda that I’m currently cutting at 3/4″. I plan on going down to 1/2″.
It dawned on me that my reel mower can’t get closer than 6″ from surrounding structures. I thought about putting some 6″ concrete pavers as borders around surrounding structures. It would look nice but would be too much work and too expensive to do.
What does everyone here do? A line trimmer tears the grass and doesn’t look good. I thought about handheld battery operated grass shears. I found one with wheels and a handle so you can stand and trim.
