Bermuda tiff — what is best reel mower?

Help — two lawn services have ruined the formerly lush Bermuda tiff lawn that came with my Phoenix house. Rather than risk a 3rd, I want to try taking care of this small area on my own. First dilemma — what kind of lawn mower works best? I understand it needs to be a reel type but they must not all work the samel. The Brill line looked good -especially the electric one — but some of their specs said Brill mowers are not recommended for Bermuda. I don’t want a gas engine or a heavy, hard to push mower. The Brills sounded easy to use and maintain. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Mclane mower company is now making an electric, 7 blade mower. Its basically the same cutting action as all their mowers- but with a lot less noise. Mclane mowers are one the more frequently used mowers for Tif type grasses. Keep in mind however, that no matter what mower your using, Tif will need to be mowed higher in the summer- to allow for the big flush of growth you get during the heat. The scalped look of many Tif lawns this time of year- is because of low-infrequent mowing. If your going to mow low, you have to also mow- 2to 3 times a week!
