Bermuda in my Zoyzia

Anyone still posting about this? I have very little Bermuda in my Zoyzia, but it appears to be increasing, or trying to. I tried a different method than others have posted in the past and it seems to be working. I bought a 69 cent syringe and loaded it with Roundup and injected it in multiple spots in the Bermuda near the ground. Seems to be helping. Not sure about the roots or if it will just pop up somewhere else. I was looking for another way besides spaying all the Zoyzia and Bermuda too. Thoughts – suggestions?

Bermuda in anything is normally not easy to remove. If it is small areas I would round-up them out now! Get new sod and fill those areas. It is actually going to be less hassle than trying to find something to kill it.
I little hint as well, round-up does not work in the root zone. It is a contact foiler herbicide and only works by contact with the leaves.
Hope that helps!
