Bermuda Help!

I have Bermuda invading my Saint Aug. Is there any way to totally kill off Bermuda? No matter what its takes or how long or how much it costs. I was once told to round up it and then cover it will plastic for a month???
any information would be appreceated.

where is bermuda coming from? your neighbors? If so put in 6 inches or so bordersin the ground. Get the cutting height up to 3.5 or 4 inches high so the SA will grow taller and crowd out bermuda. Bermuda needs a lot of sun to thrive plus they perform best when cut at less than 2 inches cutting height. Plant more trees too to shade out some. Or let bermuda grass take over and learn to live with them for the moment. Plant a lot of trees and wait 20 years and you’d have better luck growing SA.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
