Basic Bermuda Sod Installation
Grass Freak – posted 06 July 2006 14:19
Next month I plan to lay 2 pallets of Bermuda sod that I will purchase freshly cut from a sod farm. I have never laid sod before and just wanting to know the basic steps to prepare and lay the sod. I live in Athens GA, have clay soil and the soil Ph is 5.4 (no lime was recommended). Right now the area is barren with only small spots of fescue. If someone could give me a detailed reply of the steps, I’d appreciate it!
