Back Yard is a mess –Native Grass Recomendation – Need Help!

My backyard is a mess (St. Augustine / Bermuda mix) and the Bermuda doesn’t grow well because there is too much shade.
I live in Austin Tx and my house backs up to a greenbelt. I have an iron-rod fence, so my back yard appears to blend into the natural habitat which I really like and would like to start that “feel” from my patio; the yard is about 25 yards deep.
What kind of native grass would you recomend and will one grow decently in the shade? I like the thought of native due to low maintenance and less water.
Thanks for your feedback!
