Amerishade

I had resodded my front lawn with bahia last year as I thought it would be a sod that would not have many problems. Seems I was wrong. I have patches of brown spots all thru my front lawn (which does get alot of direct sunlight-I live in tampa)and lots of dollar weeds too. I was thinking of slowly changing over to another sod and heard about the Amerishade. Is this a good one to switch to and if not, what would be?

I installed Amerishade last June and have had one issue after the other. IT is awesome grass if you can get it installed right and keep up with the maintenance – fungicide, fertilizer, etc… I would have someone from the grower – Turfgrass America come out and look at your lawn situation before you invest. It is nice when it is healthy but a pain if it is not. It is not cheap either.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
I am from the north and it has taken me five yrs to learn and undertand seville lawns. No 1…
