I am looking for a book or an internet site that has pictures of various types of grasses and grassy weeds. Is there such a resource that you recommend?

This isn’t the greatest, but here are some images of warm-season turfgrasses in the vegetative condition:http://floridaturf.com/grasses/bigfive.html

Puzzled,In school we were required to buy a book that keyed out all the turf and grassy weeds. I have it at work, but the name escapes me. I will get it tomorrow and report back.
Take Care……

Puzzled, the book we used was “Grasses: An Identification Guide” by Lauren Brown. I haven’t picked it up but three times since 2000. Important note: No book will be able to tell you the variety of a particular species you have. That would have to be done by a turfgrass lab. Rutgers University has been doing DNA work on turfgrasses for a few years now. I think that is how they found out that NUGLADE was actually MIDNIGHT in the Kentucky bluegrass family. I don’t know if the court case was ever finished over that snaffu…..
The book is available through Amazon.com.
Hope it helps………Cohiba
