I was thinking of laying empire zoysia sod here in central florida. My first question is how much should I be willing to paying per pallet(500sq feet per pallet) for 10 pallets of empire. I would also like to know if can go ahead and lay the sod or if I should wait until late march or early april. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don’t know about Florida, but here in Calif.- a pallet of Zoysia cost around $250.00 Probably wait until April to lay it down.

Thank you Tommy. It seems that California is proud of their zoysia. I called some local sod companies that have it for around $140 per pallet.
Thanks

Wow, $140 is really good! Ya, its outrageous what they charge around here! I don’t think I could even get hybrid bermuda for $140.
