zoysia grass

I have read about the zoysia grass in an magazine ad. I live in the Rep. of Panama. We have to seasons here: sunny and rainy. I was wondering how would the zoysia grass work out here, what are the characteristics of the grass, and what I would need to do to get it out here…. I need help, because I don’t know too much about the grass. I will accept any help…..Thanks
