Winter fetilizer for the grass – St Aug/Floratam

I live in the north Tampa FL area. I have St Aug – Floratam grass in my front yard – apprx 1.2 acre. I noiticed my grass is turning brown and looks lifeless. What would be the best fertilizer to put on the grass at this time? How often should I water?
