Wild bermuda VS Grab

we moved into a house last fall (new construction) we put down rye, and of course it all died. now we have wild bermuda growing, and we like it. we put down weed and feed, and now we have a ton of grab grass. I know the bermuda will come back this coming spring, but what can I do to encourage the berumada and kill the grab now? we live in Sumter S.C.

There are plenty of anti crabgrass products out there. MSMA is one of the popular ones, and you should be able to buy it at any decent garden store. Follow the application directions, or you may cause severe damage to your bermuda.

Even with proper application, it’ll probably yellow the bermuda some, but the bermuda will overcome that pretty quickly.
