Which fungicide?

My centipede sod has brown patch. Which do you suggest to treat–daconil or bayleton? We’re in Alabama. Need help fast!!

bayleton definitely- either spray of spread a granular version….active ingredient will be – triademefon

I don’t know where this guy got that active ingredient. Bayleton is exactly that…Bayleton. It’s a systemic fungicide, so use it while your grass is still green and growing. Once it goes dormant, you will have to use a contact fungicide. Compass is a combination of contact and systemic and revere is a good contact-only fungicide. Lay off of the water a little bit and don’t fertilze in those areas that have fungus. You will see the fruits of your labor in the spring, as those brown spots will remain brown until spring green-up.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
