What is the Best time to water?

I live in central Florida and my Empire Zoysia was laid last March. This is my first spring with this grass and it is taking it’s time to green up. I was wondering what is the best time to water? Early morning about 4AM or after sunrise? Will watering early cause a fungus?

I am also in CFL. Depending on how many zones you have and the time, I would start about 5am. You dont want to wait until the sun starts to come up or it will just end up evaporating. Too early and you get fungus.
