Weed ID in Palmetto sod

I battled this same weed a few years ago, then after having a pool put in and yard scraped it was gone. In Florida we have had a very mild winter and it appears to be back. What am I dealing with here and how can I get rid of it. It seems more like a vine then a weed and usually forms a tangled matt if I let it go. This one area has some runners that are 5+ feet long.

Narrow leaf crabgrass–apply a pre-emergent such as Dimension NOW before spring and temp of soil get above 55. Should last 3-4 months

Looks like bermudagrass to me. There isn’t a good soultion, other than a thick St. Augustine lawn.

Looks like wild (common) bermuda grass to me. Atrazine will help control it but will not eradicate it. Frequently folks use Roundup to spot kill then resod it. You might get a 6″ or 8″ long piece of 4″ diameter PVC and put over the weed and then spray with Roundup. That limits overspray.
