Are you wanting the root stuff on the rock or the purple flower (Vinci Minor). Show another photo of the tops of the plants on the rock. We need to seed the seed pod if available and the crown (top). So far that looks like clover .

I would say it is a variety of OXALIS (clover) obviously. I have been successful with that particular, hard-to-control weed. It is an annual that comes in late summer, lasts all winter. Treat with Basagran or Image, use a “sticker” additive because the herbicide enters through the leaf blade and it is very waxy, hard to get spray to stick otherwise. Reapeat applications at 10-12 days until dead. Also use a pre-emergence in August and December. That should keep seed population down considerably, reducing the weeds to contend with.

Just for clarification Oxalis isn’t Clover but it does resemble that plant. You will need to treat multiple times with any herbicide you use or be prepared to hand dig and spray to shorten the treatment. I’ve been spraying and digging Oxalis for 9 years and just now have eliminated it from my property.

They are one in the same, I dug up the plant, and set it on the brick in the center of a patch of the weeds so you could see both
