We have a rather large bare spot in our front yard from county maintenance. We seeded it on 5-15-05 with centipede. How much water should we be applying? How often? We are in southeast Alabama. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just keep it wet until it germinates and then deeply and inferquently.

My view:15 minutes in AM and 15 minutes in PM until seed germinates. Once you have new grass visible I’d try and keep it moist. You may want to adjust the daily cycle. Once grass is mowing height, revert to “regular” watering cycle.
