Virginia Buttonweed in Bermuda

I’m having a problem with Virginia Buttonweed in common Bermuda. Does anyone have any inexpensive methods to eliminate this weed without permanent harm to the Bermuda. I’ve tried Bayer ALL-IN-ONE weed killer which works 50% of the time but this is getting quite costly. I’ve read about Borax (not Boric Acid) applied in a concentration of 2 cups per gallon of water and sprayed directly on Buttonweed. Any success stories would be greatly appreciated.

PBI Gordon has a product called Surge, It can be applied at temps of 90 degrees and is highly selective. Check it out.
