trying to establish a centipede yard from seed

We have overseeded an existing yard with Emerald Ice Centipede. Are there pictures of what newly germinated centipede looks like and if so, where can I find them. I have a few questions, too and I hope someone can answer them. Thanks in advance.

1- how long should we wait before mowing lawn. with all the watering, even though the lawn was pretty much scalped, the existing grass could use a cut. 2- now that the seed is beginning to come up, how often should i water. I have been watering twice a day. 3- when should i start a weed maintenance program and a fertilization program. We killed the weeds about 3 or so weeks before sowing seeds with 2-4-D and then the day before sowing, fertilized with slow release 10-10-10 and watered it in. Any advice is great! Thanks a bunch.
