tiff or common?

OK I’ve been told I have Tiff 419 bermuda because my yard was sodded and then some say it looks kinda like common bermuda. is there any way to tell the difference so I can know what I have? Like a grass ID website or taking a sample somewhere? Or maybe someone with tiff could post closeups of their grass. Jason

Some types of bermuda sod have a big leaf- such as ‘Midiron'(easy turf). You can also take a sample to a nursery that has a certified nurseryman on staff. 419 can also take on a common look if its not maintained very well.

419 is a sterile hybridit will not produce a seed head
but, SOD is never 100% clean allways a little common in thier
remember it science
if you have 70% 419, and some common patches, you can elliminat the common then fert and water to get you 419 more consistent ,
ita project im woking on now

I’m not certain about 419 but I’ve had 328 for over 25 years and it does produce a seed head.
