ok …this is my second time asking…can someone pleae help us!!!!!…Help…. we bought our house from someone who didn’t manage the lawn for almost two years. Tiff 419 was the original planting. Now we are having problems with zoysia and common bermuda. Does anyone have any ideas on how to combat this problem(we want to keep the tiff 419 if possible).

The first thing I would do is get the height way down there, say 1/2″ – 5/8″ or so. This is going to require a reel mower and perhaps a nuimber of passes a day or so apart to work down to that level. I think Zoysia prefers an inch or greater.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
I am from the north and it has taken me five yrs to learn and undertand seville lawns. No 1…
