Thatching Zoysia Grass

My Zoysia grass has been planted many, many years ago. It is not as green as it has been in the past. Do I need to have this thatched or what do you recommend?

How often do you fertilize it? With what product?

How often do you water? And how much?

How often do you mow? And how high?

Have you used any herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides recently?
