Strange black eggs?

I have a long narrow (about a foot wide) patch in my Bermudagrass yard that’s black and it looks like clusters of very tiny eggs on the leafblades. Has anyone had this and how do you treat it?

I have seen the same thing in my 419 Bermuda Grass lawn. now I have brown spots where the eggs were. Have you found any answers yet?

I have the same thing that appeared this morning on my St. Augustine Floratam lawn in Mount Dora, Florida. I have quite a few of them. Did any of you get an answer?

Apply Dylox and water in. Contact your local Lesco service center or whomever for some availablity. Dylox is one great non-residual chemical. It only lasts a week but it cleans the place out as far as insects go.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
