starting new lawns

Everything I’m reading is in nice climates;My wife and I just bought a new home and want a green lawn year-round. What can I plant that will look good and hold up through the 115+ degree summers of southern arizona.

Try Zoysia grass. Your local dealer will be able to provide further info. The grass is heat and drought tolleramt. Good luck!

Green all year long? Synthetic grass if for you. I’d go with Zoysia or bermuda. Lot’s of strains have been ‘cultured’ in your state, ask you local extension agent.

I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
