St Augustine overseeded with rye

What do you recommend for spring weed control and to fertilize the St. Augustine lawn overseeded with rye? Most weed and feed for St. Augustine warn not to use on rye grass.We live in coastal South Carolina,.

It’s about time for the ryegrass to go anyways. May as well help it on it’s way out.

Atrazine or Metsulfuron.

oh, and something like a 16-4-8 would do fine.

And put down pre-emergent. Atrazine has weak pre-m benefits but a real pre-m is worth its money.
