St Augustine grass

I have existing St Augustine in front yard. I just sodded back yard with St Augustine.
My front yard started getting a brown patch May 30.
Since it has spread to other areas. Last week I noticed a few spots in back yard(newly sodded). Now it is widespread random patches of brown. My yard is well fertilzed and watered. My next door neighbor used some of same sod adjacent to my yard. (they touch) She doesn’t water or fertilize and her grass is fine.
Any suggestions?

Brown / dead patches in St Augustine is usually due to insects in the soil eating the root system. Spread Diazinon on the whole yard and a little on the heavy side on the brown patches. Repeat every two months. This will help keep fireants out of your yard also.
