I recently had St Augustine sod laid in my yard when should I mow and / or fertilize.

if it is within 90 days, no fertilizer, till it gets established, however you might take a ph test, a small amount of lime can do no harm. As for mowing the first time, I waited untill the grass reached 5-6 inches, then mowed it to a 3-4 respectively. tsfroggy FLA.
