Something overtaking our grass
Ironhead – posted 01 August 2009 12:54
We have been working really hard to keep our yard nice this year. However, over the past 2 or 3 weeks something has showed up in our yard and started overrunning the grass.
We live in Southern New Jersey.
Anyone know what this stuff is?

It looks like crabgrass! Spray crabgrass killer twice, two weeks apart. Next spring use weed preventer just before the nighttime temps. become mild. Also, don’t spray the crabgrass killer in the middle of the day….wait until the sun is low in the evening.
