Sod or Grass Seed?

Hi, I’m new at lawn care and what to do with a lawn. We moved to our new home last aug. and the lawn was over run by dollar weeds, crab grass and etc. We live in Jacksonville, FL and get a lot of sunny days. We have recently put sod down on part of our front yard, st. aug. Its doing really well but sod is expensive here at 100.00 or more per pallet. We are looking for an alternative. We did plugs in a small space and it did very well. We are thinking maybe seeds? We dont know.. We need help…

you can’t seed warm weather grasses, successfully- stick with sod

Stick to sod or plugs.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
