Slopes

I have attempted to plant bermuda sod on a steep slope with no luck. It tends to establish and then dies off. There is no irrigation available to the area. Will this sod survive on this steep slope or do I another type of sod

No irrigation is probably the problem. If the slope is shady the bermuda wont establish. Sod needs the water during establishment
