Seed scrim to stop runoff

I don’t really know what it’s called, but I’m looking for this material you see sometimes on the banks of the interstate highways. It’s a loose mesh material, probably something biodegradeable, that has seed and hay, and maybe fertilizer somehow imbedded in it. It must come in huge rolls. They are spread out over the bare dirt banks that are cut into the hillside when they put the highway through. They cover the banks with it and leave it and the material and hay keep the seed from washing away. I have a problem with a bare bank where we cut into the hillside to build my house. The runoff has deposited silty sand all through my lawn and ruined half of the sod I laid down. It’s terrible. Can anyone tell me what this stuff is called and where I might find some?
