Schedule

I live in a pretty nice neighborhood. Due to the recent economic downturn I must let my commercial service go, but I would prefer not to let all my SA go.
I have noticed that my service as well as all the other services in the neighborhood follow some sort of schedule as to when to spray and when to fertilize, but I have been unable to crack the code.
When to spray for sod web worms? When to spray for chinch bugs? Fertilize in what months? Apply iron only in the fall and spring?
My turf is in fairly good condition. Has a few patches of oxalys and sedge, but I have some Atrazine 4L that I think could knock that down, fertilizing is not a big deal, but it’s the bug spraying that worries me the most. I would rather go ahead and spray than wake up one morning to a dead lawn.
So is there some sort of schedule I can find or make up myself?

I would suggest that you visit your closest JDL?Lesco store. They may be helpful. St. Augustine will not tolerate 2-4D products. You’ll need to apply a pre-emergent during February, Fertilize with 15-0-15. Check out the old Lesco site. There’s schedule for maintenance there. SA loves nitrogen. I feed mine at 1/2 lb/month during April-Sept.
